Privacy Policy

Jix is an iPhone puzzle app developed by Dulio Denis. It works without an account and does not collect information that directly identifies you. The short version: your game lives on your device.

To make the game work, Jix stores the following locally on your iPhone:

• Active puzzle progress, Daily completion history, results, current streak, and level
• Your settings — theme, font, appearance, haptics, sound, and notification preferences

This information is used only to restore the app and show your progress and preferences. Jix does not provide accounts or cloud synchronization.

Local data is retained on your device until you delete Jix. Deleting the app removes its locally stored game data. Apple transaction records and the anonymous purchase records described below are not removed when you delete the app.

Jix uses TelemetryDeck for privacy-preserving analytics. TelemetryDeck receives an anonymized identifier for this app installation, app session events, an hour-rounded timestamp, and technical metadata such as the app version, system version, and device type. This information is used only to understand aggregate app usage and improve Jix.

Jix also sends events when a game starts, a round or game is completed, the result sharing sheet is presented, or Daily History is opened. Game events include the pack and puzzle identifiers, completed round number, and active game duration where applicable.

Jix does not send puzzle answers, letter arrangements, saved in-progress state, completion history, or preferences to TelemetryDeck. It does not send names, email addresses, precise location, contacts, photos, or advertising identifiers. TelemetryDeck does not store IP addresses, and the analytics are not used to track you across apps or websites. Jix does not sell analytics data or use it for advertising.

Apple processes all payments for paid Jix Collections. Jix uses RevenueCat to retrieve available products and localized prices, validate purchases, unlock purchased Collections, and restore ownership after reinstallation or on another device.

For these purposes, RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user identifier and purchase history from Apple, including transaction and product information. RevenueCat uses this information for app functionality and aggregate purchase analytics. Jix does not provide RevenueCat with your name, email address, or payment-card details.

Purchase information is not used for advertising or tracking across other companies' apps or websites, and Jix does not sell it. Apple and RevenueCat retain transaction information according to their respective legal obligations and privacy policies. Learn more in Apple's Privacy Policy and RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

Jix does not request notification permission on first launch. After your first Daily puzzle, Jix may offer Daily reminders. If you accept or enable notifications in Settings, reminders are scheduled locally through Apple's notification system. You can disable them in Jix or in iOS Settings; doing so withdraws your consent to receive future reminders.

Launch puzzle content is bundled with the app, and gameplay does not require a network connection. Jix contacts TelemetryDeck to send the anonymized analytics described above and RevenueCat to provide product, purchase, entitlement, and restoration functionality. Jix does not knowingly collect directly identifying personal information from children. The game requires no account or personal profile to play. Purchases are handled through the Apple Account and purchase controls configured on the device.

We may update this policy as the app evolves. The latest version is always available at this page, and the "last updated" date below shows when it was most recently revised.
